Hi, all — Since I started using TextExpander in 2020, I’ve expanded 154,513 snippets and saved 510 hours of typing. (That’s almost 13 forty-hour work weeks!) My most commonly expanded snippets in that time have been `<$li>` → `
  • ` and `<$o$>` → `✘`, which I guess means that I type a lot of naysayer HTML lists. You’d think I’d have used some of that saved time to join the TE Community. What finally brought me here today is making good on a promise to my co-workers to introduce them to the product and share my work-related snippets. That, in turn, has reminded me that I’d always intended to clean up my snippet library and make chunks of it available as public snippets.     Continuing the discussion from [New here? Introduce yourself!](https://community.textexpander.com/t/new-here-introduce-yourself/31): Hi, everyone. I’m Cheri and I’m a new here, although definitely not new to typing shortcuts. I’m an editor for court reporters and use the software’s typing expanders every day. I’m not sure why it took me this long to look for and realize I can use them when I’m not in that software by using a program like this! I’ve already entered many that I use every day. The only issue I’ve had is that I had to modify slightly when using TE (I used z for the moment) because if I used what I use in my software, I get the phrase or word twice in my software and also the shortcut got typed in as well.
