What are your favorite general-purpose ChatGPT business prompts?
Aniket Chetri on LinkedIn shared a great prompt for converting meeting notes into an action plan. It takes your meeting notes (like the one made with @AmySchwartz meeting note template Snippet), and turns them into action plans for each participant.
We made it a bit longer to generate consistent formatting:
Rules:
- Start with a 1–2 sentence summary at the top.
- Group tasks into logical categories with headings.
- For each task, list each detail on its own bullet line in this exact format:
* Task: [Describe the task clearly]
* Responsible: [Name]
* Deadline: [Day of week, Month Day, Year]
* Priority: [High/Medium/Low]
* Status: [Not started/In progress/Completed]
- Keep the text after the colons as plain text (no extra bullets).
- Bold text before colons
- Preserve my wording when possible.
- Maintain clear, concise formatting.

This prompt is a bit long, so we turned it into a TextExpander Snippet. If you subscribe to Community Snippets Public Group, all you have to do is expand com.action in the ChatGPT prompt and then paste in your meeting notes.

Weekly Agenda
Speakers: Mike, Josh, Amy, Megan
Date: Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at 2:43 PM
Notes
- Mike unveiled the early prototype of SnackTracker 3000, our new app that uses AI to predict when users will get hungry and automatically orders snacks. Early testers loved the gummy bear forecasts, but granola bar predictions were wildly inaccurate.
- Josh suggested integrating “Snack Mood Detection” via webcam analysis, but concerns were raised about false positives during long Zoom calls.
- Amy reported that our guerrilla marketing campaign outside the local pretzel factory generated 17 new signups, one confused dog, and a mild police inquiry.
- Megan noted that customer service received multiple questions about whether the SnackTracker 3000 can deliver soup. It cannot, and probably never will.
Action Items
- Add AI to SnackTracker 3000 to improve granola prediction accuracy.
- Megan to draft FAQ entry: “No, we don’t deliver soup.”
- Amy to plan “Midnight Snack Challenge” TikTok campaign.
- Mike to test cross-platform compatibility with vending machines in the break room.

Summary
