Do you use ChatGPT in your writing? Do you have useful prompts to share?
Here’s a useful prompt to create an SEO brief from Sunny Grewal on LinkedIn. Just fill in your keyword and ChatGPT creates a content plan with target keywords, an outline, target personas, and resources to link to.
If you subscribe to the Community Snippets Public Group, you can try it by expanding com.seobrief.

Prompt:
Acting as the best SEO strategist and editorial lead, create a comprehensive content brief for a long-form article targeting the keyword "[insert keyword]." Include the search intent, suggested title variations, competitor gap analysis, ideal content length, user personas, tone of voice, section-wise word count, internal link targets, external authoritative sources to cite, recommended visual assets (images, infographics), CTA placement strategy, and a brief for the writer.
I have a bunch. What in particular are you looking for? Here are two examples:
Pre-Prompt Prompt: Before you write anything, verify every factual claim you’re about to make. If you reference research, studies, statistics, or expert opinions, either cite specific sources you can verify, or clearly mark them as questions to investigate. If you’re making assumptions about what ‘research shows’ or what ‘studies indicate,’ stop and rewrite those as hypotheses or areas for reporting. Do not create false authority by stating things as fact when they’re actually your logical inferences. When in doubt, say ‘I don’t know’ or ‘this would need to be researched’ rather than manufacturing credibility.
Pain Point Analysis: Conduct a deep analysis of online conversations to identify specific pain points that B2B marketers frequently discuss regarding [TOPIC]. Source information from forums, social media, Reddit, Quora, and customer review sites. Provide a written summary of your findings followed by a clear table summarizing the categories and their frequency. For each category identified, include a clearly titled section containing an analysis of findings and a bulleted list of 12 bullet points that contain direct quotes, each accompanied by its source.
Scope of Research: Recent trends or a broader historical view
Geographic Focus
B2B Industry Segments
Pain Point Types: Content creation, audience growth, moneitization, RO measurement, technical execution

Tough but Fair Editor (you’ll want to tweak this for your specific purpose): Step back and read this like a tough but fair editor. One who’s allergic to fluff, suspicious of clichés, and always looking out for the reader. What assumptions don’t hold up? Where does the logic wobble? What parts drag, ramble, or sound like I fell in love with my own words (it happens)? What would make someone stop reading—or stop trusting me? Be specific, be sharp—but keep the red pen warm, not cruel.
Hope this helps.
