Hi, I’m Josh, and I’m a Content Marketing Manager here at TextExpander. I started using TextExpander back in 2013 when I became the Managing Editor of TidBITS, and I’ve been using it daily ever since. Before that, I used another text expansion product when I worked in licensing at Dollar General, since TextExpander didn’t support Windows back then.
In addition to helping run this community, my daily tasks include writing and updating content for our blog, posting to our social media accounts on X, LinkedIn, and Facebook, and making videos, which you can find on YouTube and Vimeo.
I have been using TextExpander since 2007, and now I work on the product team, helping to build the best TextExpander ever. Join the conversation and let us know how you use TextExpander. We love to hear from our customers!

My hobbies generally involve hanging out with my three boys. We like gaming, theme parks, and swimming.
My favorite vacation was Disneyland with the three of them this past summer. It was hot but we had a blast!
My favorite ride has been Jungle Cruise for many years. Why? It’s one of the only rides that relies on the cast member’s talent to enhance the ride with their jokes and the delivery.
A couple random facts about me: I’ve been to Disneyland probably 15 times but never Disney World. Two of my boys are named after Walt Disney
