I’m super disappointed by the move to incorporate plagiaristic artificial intelligence. Is there a way to opt out of the AI aspects once they’ve gone wide?
The earlier demo I seen regarding integration with AI was about being able to find your own snippets quicker. I don’t think ‘plagiaristic’ comes into it.
Hi @DaynaReidenouer, thanks for the feedback here. While a lot of AI tools are built solely for content creation using LLM’s, our primary use case focuses on library curation. Any AI functionality in TextExpander will be opt-in (you don’t have to use it), and your data is never used to train AI models outside of your account.

Hey David You’ve been added to our waitlist. We’re just finalizing a few things, and if all goes well, we’ll reach out next week with installation details.
I’m really hoping that I can have the AI help me clean it up and make it look a little more aesthetically pleasing
Sometimes when you try to create a template, that’s flexible, but also has a lot of detail and multiple different areas that need to be documented. It just looks ugly on my template.LOL.
