Mine is my freelance portfolio form. I work with a lot of freelance writers and designers. I try and keep their portfolios and contact info in a single spreadsheet so I can reference it when starting a new project. I’ve set up a Snippet that sends new freelancers to a Google Form they can fill out so I have their work on file.

After writing thousands of blog about tech and productivity: “workflows”. It’s not really long enough for a Snippet, I’m just tired of typing it.

As a DJ who works tons weddings, lots and lots of couples want to use Israel “Iz” Kamakawiwo’ole’s version of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” for some moment during their wedding or reception. Pretty sure it took me only one time of typing his name before I I made ‘ziz’ the abbreviation to insert his full name.

I have a snippet I use all the time when I plan and draft social media content. I usually write this in Drafts or Notion.

I am totally stealing this lol I’ve added it to the Community Snippets Public Group as com.social.
Phrase I never want to type again? ‘Thanks for your email, I’ll get back to you soon.’ Used to hammer that out 10 times a day back when I started freelancing and chasing clients. Made a snippet for it years ago—tyemail—and haven’t looked back.
