TE beta 8.4.8 suddenly stopped expanding.
After fiddling with system- and TE settings for a while without improvement I deleted the beta and re-installed it within Testflight – no improvement.
Also:
I could only activate the english keyboard and not the german one.
The TE keyboard was not recognizable by the papaya-t as in earlier versions.
I tried to install the regular version from the AppStore: TE is not available on the german iPad Appstore!
On my iPhone 16 Plus I have TE 4.6.5 running fine on the latest iPadOS 27 public beta.

So sorry this reply is late. We watch the forum and this one slipped past us. I’ve also written to you directly at the address on your account, since the expansion problem needs logs from your iPad and that’s easier to sort out over email.

Where to report beta issues. There isn’t a separate forum or address for TestFlight testers. support@textexpander.com goes straight to our team. There’s also a “Report a Problem” option inside the app that sends us diagnostic logs along with your message, and that’s the most useful way to reach us when something breaks.
Finding the app in the App Store. The app is live, but it’s listed as “TextExpander 8 Keyboard” and Apple’s search index hasn’t caught up yet, so searching won’t turn it up in any storefront right now. Direct link: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6476621006
German keyboard. The keyboard is English only at the moment. Autocorrect and swipe typing are both built on an English dictionary, so there’s no German option to switch on. You can set the layout to QWERTZ in TextExpander’s keyboard settings and long-press keys to reach umlauts and ß, but autocorrect will still pull toward English. I’ve passed the request for German along to our mobile team.
The missing papaya T. That one was deliberate. The logo used to sit in the top row where it doubled as the search button, and people couldn’t find snippet search, so it’s a magnifying glass now and the mark moved to the bottom right of the spacebar. You should also see “TextExpander” flash across the spacebar when you switch to our keyboard.
If anyone else has run into the keyboard suddenly stopping expansion on iPad, reply here with the build number you’re on. That helps us spot a pattern faster.

Yesterday I installed the latest beta on my iPad – which was updated to 26.6.1 in the meantime – and all works fine so far.
