TextExpander not expanding properly when using external scripts?

Hi everyone,

I’ve been running into a strange issue lately while using TextExpander alongside some external scripting tools, and I’m not sure if it’s something on my end or a broader compatibility thing.

In a separate discussion, someone mentioned something they casually called delta script, which led me to check out a site. From what I understand, it seems to be related to running or injecting scripts, but I’m not entirely clear on how it interacts with apps like textexpander.

The issue I’m seeing is that sometimes my snippets either don’t expand at all or behave inconsistently when I have other background tools running. It made me wonder whether certain external script-based utilities might interfere with textexpander’s trigger detection or clipboard behavior.

Has anyone here experienced conflicts between textexpander and lesser-known scripting tools? I’m also curious if there are specific permissions, security settings, or system-level interactions that could cause snippet expansion to fail intermittently.

More generally, how do you approach testing compatibility when introducing new tools into your workflow? I’d rather avoid breaking something that’s otherwise working smoothly.

Would really appreciate any insights or similar experiences. Thanks in advance!
