I see quite a few questions about if our solution will be able to use additional context. Yes! I did not demo this, but you can add context like your own learning center articles or kb content, instructions on tone and style, etc.

I have watched the AI webinar. JD mentioned that in the future it may be possible to link to other AI models. I have spent some time building out a number of projects in Claude and, in an ideal world, I would like to be able to use that knowledge base to interact with TextExpander, selecting the relevant project each time. Is that a direction you might go?

Hi Martin, we are exploring that, and have built some “bring your own model” capabilities that a few customers are testing. It’s not exposed in this preview, but it’s absolutely on our mind. When we started that journey, getting an API key from the LLM vendor wasn’t quite as easy as it is now, but we will continue to explore. I’m in the same boat, where I have projects in platform vendors I would like to utilize in TextExpander.
