This is one you don’t want to miss! I think this is easily our best webinar so far.
This was a great webinar. Thank you for hosting it. I learned a lot.
One thing that stood out was the question toward the end about using TextExpander to fill out multiple pages or fields in a form. I’d like to suggest a feature called “delay” that could enhance this functionality. The idea is to allow TextExpander to pause for a user-defined number of seconds before continuing to fill out the next part of a page. This delay could either follow a default setting or be customized per snippet.
I think this would help accommodate pages that load fields dynamically or require brief pauses between entries. Just a thought, and thank you again.
Hi Christian - This is a great suggestion. We’ve heard this from other customers too. We will add a +1 to the functionality - add pause/delay/wait within snippets and between macros.
Great idea to have a default but having the option to customize it.
Thank you for writing in! Keep the feature requests coming!
Thanks for the webinar. Nicely done. I could not attend due to the time difference so very much appreciate the recording. I have always been somewhat baffled why TextExpander has such good date and time maths but no access to a simple date picker. Or am I missing something? We run a B&B cottage and I send a lot of booking confirmation emails using TE. I have an in-date and an out-date, so clipboard is not useful. Every other snippet app I have tried has a date picker as a std component. How can I get the equivalent in TE without a myriad of keystrokes going to and from with my b&b web booking page? Many thanks!
